My liver is rapidly declining. I have constant vertigo and heart palpitations. No doctor will take me seriously or just tell me how bad it really is. And they don’t know what’s causing any of it. Any advice? I have no idea where to go from here.

Do you have a relative or friend that could go with you to appointments? Unfortunately I have found that if I bring someone with me (especially if it’s my dad) that they tend to take me more seriously. As a someone born female that has diagnosed psych issues, drs look into my symptoms more if I have a male presenting person with me

You can also tell them that you haven’t been taken seriously in the past and that is a concern you have going in. Put an emphasis on how it has been damaging your quality of life and try to form some sort of action plan with your dr. Like I usually ask what the next steps or tests would be if things come back normal
