Had a ton of blood work done, including a full vitamin work up, and everything is completely normal. So why am I constantly tired and even fall asleep standing up? 😭 everyone always says I could be vitamin b12, d, iron, etc deficient but it’s not that

Have you had a sleep study? Narcolepsy maybe?

Ferritin was normal and so was vitamin d. Even got a Lyme and thyroid test to see if that was the issue 🥲 every single test has come up completely clear. I get 8-10 hours of sleep a night and I wake up feeling the same as I did when I went to bed, exercise, eat well (mostly), and take medication to control anxiety. And I take magnesium for restful sleep. Both me and my doctors are at a loss

optimal levels are different than normal levels. i was in normal range for vitamin d and iron and was still deficient. same with my thyroid too

Could it be the anxiety meds or magnesium maybe? Both make me tired personally.

Unfortunately it was a problem before I started either of them 😣 I’ve been dealing with this since age 12-13 probably

I’m not saying it’s EDS. But I do have this problem comorbid with my EDS. That’s also around the age this symptom started for me. How sure are you that you know the difference between falling asleep and fainting? Do you have a strong urge to nap in inappropriate places like public bathrooms or sidewalks and feel like you genuinely could? Might be worth looking up pre-syncope to see if it sounds familiar.

I actually suspect I might have POTS because I actually do faint occasionally 😅
