I went to neurologist with the list of symptoms I had for my rheum. And my neurologist was like flabbergasted that they werenโ€™t doing anything. So she ran a bunch of tests and not I need to get a neck mri. Iโ€™m somewhat convinced (based on my experience) that rheumatologist donโ€™t care if itโ€™s not arthritis or a well known autoimmune disorder.

I thought /s meant โ€œseriousโ€ and /j meant joking. But I guess it could also mean sarcasm

Iโ€™ve never seen that but I also donโ€™t see tone indicators a lot.

Lots of doctors suck but some are good. Personally, my rhum and primary are the only two that take me seriously - every other doctor has sucked

Thatโ€™s so interesting, Iโ€™ve had the misfortune of continually getting rheums and pcps that always dismiss me. Iโ€™ve had to switch PCPs so many times. But my other specialist do take me seriously (neuro and GI)
