Is it just me or is it a massive red flag if you can get an appointment with a specialists three days from calling as a new patient???

It mightttt be. It really depends, if there are no other patients in the waiting room or anything- then yes. Probably not a great doctor. If there are other people- they may have had an opening or a cancellation and could get you in asap which is the best case scenario

They had a bunch of availability the following week I fear it’s a red flag especially for a “specialist”

Yeah I would definitely take that as a red flag then. But if you are planning on seeing them, good luck!!
