I have to get my wisdom teeth removed and I’m so scared because I heal like fruit on a counter because of my chronic problems. I HATE ANYTHING MOUTH RELATED nooooooo 😭😭😭

I also have EDS and both my wisdom tooth surgeries went great! I only needed two because I had a fifth one randomly grow in the middle of the roof of my mouth years after they removed the first four. Completely unrelated to EDS and healed much easier than all 4 out at once

so like… not tryna scare you bc it’s unlikely and my dentist said they’ve never seen it before but my wisdom tooth hole just… didn’t heal? so like i have giant gaping holes i have to flush out and my gums around it are receding😭 i also have a VERY VERY rare type of EDS tho

I have EDS and mine was completely fine! I had to get all 4 surgically removed and I was terrified because I’ve had very bad scarring after knee surgeries (also cause of EDS)

Heyyyyy so EDS is why I heal so shitty STOPP I mainly worried because you can show me a bone sticking out of an arm, but the second your mouth starts bleeding I get queasy what am I gonna do my own mouth?

well I also have pEDS so don’t let this scare you too much LOL, I’ve heard so many people with other types be completely fine!! that’s what the gauze is for pookie, even w my questionable healing I only bled for a few hrs after!

although I did have an infection also so… I’m not even gonna explain the horrors of my mouth at that time😭😭 I am VERY abnormal though, I have faith in you and your recovery!!
