I couldn’t do my injection today, I had a panic attack for HOURS when I tried.. I can wait until tomorrow or when I’m ready but I feel so ashamed

Don’t be ashamed that happened the first time I tried to give myself my injection. I had to have my dad do it the first few times (then he messed up once, so never again). What helped me was popping a super sour candy (preferably warheads) right as I inject myself, then count out loud until it’s done. Also I prep the injection the day before (like have it sitting out on my dresser) so that I can grab it and do it asap bf I start to freak out

It’s scary giving yourself an injection, especially if you haven’t done it before. Don’t be too hard on yourself, you’ve got this! 👍

I’ve done it before tho! 20 times! And I used to SH. Idk why I can’t do it this time
