i can’t go on walks with my friends without feeling super dizzy and like i can’t breathe. i have chronic pain and need medication so i don’t have to rely on braces and a cane. i know i’m overweight but surely that can’t be causing all of this???

Omg I feel the oversight with chronic pain so bad. Doctors take one look and are like “oh just lose weight” and it’s like well it’s hard to do that when I’m in so much pain I can’t walk. I’m so sorry and I hope you get answers soon 🙏

the last thing i want is my friends to think i don’t walk with them because i’m just fat and lazy. i WANT to. i’ve TRIED. my body can’t keep up

yeah i had to get a new doctor bc of that :’) old one wouldn’t test me for anything, just told me to exercise more. like girl i CANT. she fr told me to just do it until the pain was so excruciating that i physically couldn’t continue 😭 thankfully my new doctor immediately sent in tests for me and agreed that no matter my weight i shouldn’t be in so much pain at this age

I have all these symptoms as an underweight person and had it constantly dismissed as anxiety until i finally switched all of my drs (except 1). Your weight is not causing this, sure being over or under weight might not help things, but it’s not the sole cause.

tysm, this genuinely makes me feel better knowing someone else is going through the same thing regardless of weight
