Has anyone else been prescribed fioricet for migraine episodes? It works most of the time for me, but it makes me act like I’ve taken a shot or two (aka I get extremely chatty and social) 😂 just wondering if anyone relates

Omg my sleep/pain/PTSD meds do that (plus I don’t remember anything ~15 mins after I take them) but everyone says I have the same personality and just do the same stuff so I’m not really worried about it.

i have not tried it, but there are a LOT of medications for migraines, so if you have any negative side-effects, it’s def worth not being afraid to bring it up with your neuro

I do remember everything it’s just like 15-30 min of woah let’s party, then I’m back to normal. It just I gotta be careful cause sometimes I accidentally retrigger the migraine 😂. Like if it’s one of my 3-5 day migraines, I have to be really careful, hydrate and rest, or the meds won’t work.

It’s been a struggle finding as needed meds, my preventative one works so well, but now that I get vertigo with them fioricet seems to not work as well.
