Has to get a pre employment physical and they wanted to know all my diagnoses and to fill out that checklist of any current or previous problems and explain all my medical history I’m not sure if they think I’m dramatic or fucked up…both maybe

They made me sign multiple forms that said I swear everything is true and complete… isn’t it illegal then to say it is the whole truth and not tell it?

You can’t exactly lie on a pre employment physical. It’s one thing when you’re interviewing but if you’re going to request accommodations or it might interfere with the job you can’t lie and say it doesnt exist. I can say it’s handled, it’s not a problem, but I can’t say I have no medical problems. And with an offer, I’d have very strong legal grounds to sue.

Call me crazy but I’m not one to do that when starting at a new job. Last thing I want to do is give them grounds to go after me for withholding medical info which very easily will become known.

Not crazy at all. 99% of the time it’s illegal to fire you for having a disability. It’s 100% legal to fire you for committing perjury. Lies of omission and straight up lies are two different things
