I feel like if school admin and people in charge of accommodations and prof had to expletive what I do for one week I’d have never failed a single class just for attendance. My work was late but got good scores, my department (not the college, just my major) has a very strict attendance policy though, where if you miss 5 classes you basically have to withdraw or fail
