This team’s been pretty decent in clutch time scenarios this season. Last season was a different story

But it’s the same theme. Houston, UNC in the ACCT, now Florida and Texas Tech, where there were double digit leads in the second half that were blown

Part of it is just basketball but I also think Scheyer tends to slow things down and drain the clock when they get up big and that just invites the other team to get back in it. His teams also tend to get lazy at times, maybe that’s a conditioning thing

Yeah he needs to stop the clock draining stuff and assuming late-minute “voodoo” will bail the team out like vs Florida/vs UNC. This is a lesson for them
