Scared of a 25-9 mid major returning most of their players. Over 75 teams declined to schedule them and obviously for good reason

They didn’t decline because they were scared they didn’t even see what the team could accomplish yet they declined because they didn’t think it would be challenge enough to benefit their teams

They saw a team that went 25-9 get better. Power schools play other power schools to begin the season or they play tune up games against mid majors who are gonna get steamrolled. Everyone knew Miami wasn’t gonna get steamrolled and also wasn’t a big name. They were in no mans land with scheduling

Teams literally didn’t want to play them. That’s a fact so idk what to tell you. There is not a team on the outside looking in more deserving that Miami
