I wonder what the winning NIT team would’ve done in the tournament if they got the chance. It would be interesting if they had a play in game to get into the March tournament during the Round of 32 or something. This would mean they play the NIT way before

I know that, but how good would they be coming off this NIT tournament that’s what I want to know. It’s more of a hypothetical question about college basketball tournaments in general if that makes sense
