Do people not remember how shitty EA’s basketball games have been for 20 years?

Do people not remember how shitty the maddens have been for the last 10 years? Ea takes college seriously, they’ll put the same work into the detail and environment of stadiums and recruiting and all the other things they did for cfb 25 and 26

Cfb 25 has amazing graphics but the kicking is dogshit and kinda ruins red zone gameplay. I dont think basketball will have a major issue like that

Want to buy a bridge? I can sell you any bridge you want. Imagine thinking that a game with 200+ teams is going to have more work and attention to detail than a game dealing with ~30.

Yeah, the actual game mechanics of CFB25 were complete dogshit. Everything about them. It’s like they kept only the bad things about Madden and used none of the good. But with basketball, they have no good to source from. There hasn’t been a single good quality about an EA basketball game since the Sega Genesis.

Cfb 25 was about the atmosphere and completely ignored gameplay. As i said kicking is awful. Passing is awful too. Hopefully cfb 26 focuses less on “ooh college” and fixes the mechanics

It doesn’t. It literally doesn’t. They have the same amount of time. A smaller dev team, and roughly 7x as many locations and players and teams to accommodate. On top of the fact that now they have to PAY a shit ton morning likeness agreements and licensing. People will buy it because people are stupid like that. But there’s literally nothing in recent history to suggest that EA is going to suddenly make their first good basketball game in 20 years.

Yeah, the main selling point was “Look! It’s college sports! Buy this!” And that’s plenty for some people. But no one should get it twisted with the quality of the product.

As long as shooting and defense is fine im buying ncaa 26. Again, if all portions of gameplay are suitable its worth it. The issue with madden is not that the games suck, its that every years game is identical

And there has literally never been an EA basketball game that did anything well other than GUI and netcode. 2K has owned EA in every facet of video game basketball since 1999.

I am not buying cfb 26, and i listed valid complaints with cfb 25. Liking a game does not make me a “sheep”. Stop trying to be different and alternative. Its not cool
