i was band kid… a lot of them were really great and they were some of the first people i opened up to about my mental health, and all were understanding. they’re still some of my best friends today. point is, your experiences do not define a generality.

i got groomed by my section leader and the entire section turned on me and bullied me and 80% of the band kids i’ve met all sucked and pretty much fit the stereotype to a T

Just because you were in band doesn’t mean you can stereotype that entire culture as a whole. Your band experience doesn’t represent everyone’s experience And yes I read what you said. I have a masters degree in reading
