What annoys me more than anything about SEC fans is they act like 9-3 or 10-2 teams in other conferences aren’t legit. A few years back OSU had a great resume beating PSU and ND and no one took them seriously

Like we gotta keep up with the times. I remember the 2000s the big 12 and pac 12 were really good too but that’s not where we are anymore. Teams have realigned and power has consolidated

From the big 10 they’re legit, but there’s only 2 power conferences now. I’m not saying teams from the other conferences can never be elite too but it’s a case by case basis. The big 12 and acc are not on the same level

Recognize what’s wrong with that statement. It’s the same teams every year from the Big 10 and SEC. It’s just those teams. The only difference between them is SEC and Big 10 vs the ACC and the Big 12 is that the latter are much more balanced. A 1-2 loss Texas Tech team this year is much than any SEC 9-3 team

No this was the 10 men on the field year. They destroyed a very good Oregon State team in the bowl. And penn state had statistically one of the greatest defenses ever that year (so did michigan osu and iowa in the same season)

that was the year then, the oc was gone and oregon state had cleaned house. oregon state also didn't have a head coach and were down to like a third or fourth string qb so it was like syracuse any game without angelli this year. and yeah, penn state's defense was so great they couldn't adapt to michigan's 32 consecutive running plays in a harbaugh suspension game.

Penn state did very well against the 32 runs, they actually got multiple stops. Michigan called those plays intentionally knowing psus offense couldnt move the ball and psu had the #1 pass defense in america

Penn state was a defensive holding away from beating osu and they finished higher in power ratings than the ap poll that season
