
Texas (10) beat OU (11) and Vandy (13). Lost to Ohio State (1) and Florida (unranked) and they all have the same W-L record. They’re exactly where they should be unless you believe OU and Vandy should also drop farther back, which isn’t a bad “the SEC is overrated argument”, but ppl keep complaining about TX and never mention OU or Vandy. But they’ll likely lose to Georgia (5) this week so who knows how they’ll tank versus Vandy and Oklahoma after that happens.

I agree but people keep saying “why is Texas ranked 10” and the answer is actually really simple, it’s because OU is ranked 11th and Vandy 13th. Then someone says “the loss to Florida should hurt Texas more” and all I’m saying is that cherry picking losses can become arbitrary if it’s not applied equally across the board.
