true, but this is bama. There's still a good chunk of time for these things to change. Plus, the coaching staff is still at an elite SEC level. Who knows who will finally get the opportunity to really show themselves

They have the #3 recruiting class right now, and their transfers are lacking but again shit can change. They still have several key starters from last year (including probably the best young WR we've seen in years), and their coaching is STILL elite. Are they gonna be number 1? definitely not. Are they gonna be ranked? Most likely yes. Where are you getting all this misinfo from?
