Absolutely could be, but as a Bama fan I think this year is salvageable if we turn the keys over to Keelon Russell and get some pieces back on defense. This game shows me how valuable Tim Keenan is

Though one more year of mediocrity might be it for DeBoer. This roster is talented, but we take dumb penalties and regularly get outcoached. I think DeBoer was overrated coming in

Overrated feels like a hard one to say though, considering he went there after making a national championship game appearance. And, while there was some poor playcalls, I also saw some very off target passes from Simpson, and on top of that a defensive front that just could not stop the run

In his 2 years as Alabama coach, DeBoer is 4-4 when favored by 14+. The dude apparently just can’t hack it. Another sign of poor coaching is the penalties Bama takes now, Saban had disciplined teams who were well coached, were capable of superb execution, and would win games even if stars struggled because they’d win situational football and DeBoer straight up can’t win if his QB doesn’t play perfectly
