Miami and FSU in the 80’s- 90’s was basically the national championship every year, whoever won was in the natty and even the last 20 years there has been so many amazing games: Miami comeback from 27-7 in 9 minutes to win by 1 point in 2018, 2017 Miami wins on last second TD to stay undefeated, 2020 FSU wins on 4th and 14, 2023 Miami almost beat #4 undefeated fsu, 2016 fsu wins on a blocked PAT, people don’t really acknowledge it anymore bc both are never good at the same time, very underrated

most historical sport in america, if you wanna look at it like casual nba fans do the NBA, you can go ahead and be a casual. but history matters here in CFB. If stuff in the 80’s-90’s doesn’t matter now, then winning a championship now would mean nothing considering it wouldn’t mean anything in 20-30 years.
