All I can tell you is personal experience. Alabama fans are the trashiest I’ve been around. All sec teams have trashy fans but for bama it’s rare to find a fan that isn’t trashy. I’m telling you it’s honestly impressive

I’m a bama fan and a lot of our fans are classless but let me tell you what. I’ve seen idiots in the students sections be asshatts to opposing fans but never in my life has it been as bad as it’s been AGAINST us at Tennessee, LSU, and FSU

The worst fans for all sec schools are 1. People that didn’t attend the school but lived near by and make it their whole life. 2. Frat guys with too much alcohol and/or nose candy

This is true But my most insufferable experiences with fan bases are LSU Tennessee and FSU I’ve seen our frat guys yell the f slur at opposing fans, but they would never throw a drink on a woman which happened to me at FSU

Like if you randomly walked into an LSU or Tennessee tailgate tent, odds are they’ll be nice to you and you can prob even get some gumbo from the LSU people, but I feel like Georgia would just bark and throw stuff at you 💀

Yeah nah man that’s where I promise you, you’re mistaken. I’ve lived in Georgia my whole life, and grew up a Georgia tech fan, hated UGA my whole life and thought they were all trashy. I went to school here and realized most of the student body is actually amazing it’s just the people that don’t have any correlation with the school that give us a bad rep

And honestly I only see tensions get high with all of these teams during games. I’ve been welcomed at tailgates as a UGA student everywhere I’ve been, bama was actually one of the most hospitable last year tailgate wise. I’ve also been to plenty of tailgates at uga with other schools students here, including friends I’ve invited that have had a great time.
