Just finished watching the Cincinnati and Nebraska game (paused it way earlier) without being spoiled by social media… man what a finish. What a game. WHY WOULD YOU THROW IT AND NOT JUST RUN & KICK THE FG? Anyways

Throw it 40 yards to your receivers who haven’t done anything all night, in coverage with 41 seconds left. Even if you go for the win, taking the shot with 41 seconds left is certainly a choice when you haven’t had success in the air all night

You can run a few more short yardage plays to chip your way then take the shot as it gets closer distance and time wise. Then FG if you don’t get it. Don’t risk a turnover in that field position and time
