All of my friends who are Texas fans have all admitted that Texas is not as good this year and that last night was an example of it i think people just like to hate on Arch I’ve also seen arch say several times now that he didn’t do anything to gain all the hype pre season so idk why people shit talk him so much when it isn’t like his ego is huge or anything

my experience with texas fans has not been the same lol. but that could also just be bc my team played them so they were extra hostile. i think they’re just rlly loud and obnoxious and ppl don’t rlly like that. tbf tho everyone also hates osu and bama fans (prob more than texas fans too). every time they play the entire country is rooting against them

I don’t remember arch asking for all the pre season hype he got People shit on him for not living up to a name that would be ridiculously hard for any college qb to live up to, he literally said himself he didn’t do anything to have all the hype but people still act like he sucks bc he isn’t living up to an extremely high standard that he never asked to be held to

i go to a G5 school but my perspective is that all the bandwagon people who hate on Arch without watching the game (and seeing the dropped balls, oline issues, etc) just assume he’s the entire reason for the loss and then yap about him online 0 ball knowledge

It’s not so much that he isn’t living up to a standard, it’s that he only got the job because of his family. I don’t blame him at all, but I do Texas for hiring him
