As much as I don’t like the ncaa and some of the ways they handle things I don’t want the government dealing with that.

The funniest thing about this is the fact that it 100% won't be enforced

Surely our Supreme Leader can make these decisions because everything is going great and there’s no scandals

The new rules are actually great. Idk how enforceable they are, but they’re great

The only administration less competent than the NCAA is the one in the White House

I’m telling you this literally means nothing. The ncaa is not a government agency. It’s quite literally useless

Yes but he can shut down schools nil funding through it which would make their team dead basically

Some of us play and get injury exceptions. I don’t think that would be a problem. We only get one of those though

No he can’t because it’s an executive order and is effectively meaningless. Dude is just dangling keys in your face

I mean… the MLB is most certainly up there…

No, the NCAA is not a government agency, but they’re not the ones enforcing the rules anyway. These disputes go to the courts, and the courts tell the NCAA what to do.

Not exactly. In order for this to be enforceable, it would have to be a law enacted by Congress. An EO cannot create a new law. Laws come from the legislative branch.

That has nothing to do with what I said 😭

The problems with the MLB right now are rooted in the union contract. It’s not rooted in the administration. MLB has been on comeback mode for the past few years and the product is in a great spot. A salary cap and/or floor is the next thing they need to add but that will happen between this season and next as the MLBPA contract is up after this season
