Until otherwise proven Penn State will continue to be the little brother of the B10

I agree, if anything this is the season for them to prove themselves.

Yeah the pressure is on for Drew Aller and James Franklin. I think it makes sense to expect them to make big strides from where they were last season but I’ve just done the dance too many times about hearing how it was their year to break out against OSU and Michigan but time and time again they have floundered. So I completely get it why they’re up that high but until they can beat them I’m not betting on PSU.

I agree, preseason top 25’s are based off paper, and on paper penn st is 100% a top 5 team with all those guys returning, but until they can beat osu they aren’t winning anything, i think this is the year because im not very high on OSU this year

I don’t think OSU is gonna go the way of Michigan last year but as to how well they perform it just feels very tbd. They lost so many important players and both coordinators. But the cupboards aren’t empty though. Jeremiah Smith is a beast and with Tate, Iniss, and Max Klare honestly this could very well be the best reviving group. But as to how much they can shine will depend on Sayin if he can live up to the hype then that’s a terrifying offense but it is his first season starting and 1/2

Who knows how long or even if he’ll ever end up building chemistry with the receivers and the o line which is also having to be built back up. The defense did get key parts back again though Caleb Downs is critical and Sonny Styles and Igbinosun are dangerous. Hartline has a ton of previous success but who knows how that will translate as coordinator. I think there are amazing pieces but as to whether or not the puzzle will get put together is the question 2/2.
