My fraternity and I are organizing an SEC walkout at Ole Miss at 4pm tomorrow (9/11) with American flags and signs. For the health, safety, and to protect the freedom of speech of all Republicans and our political figures. Upvote to support us 🇺🇸

The fact this got so many upvotes is crazy. You can unequivocally condemn violence while at the same time understand that the notion that American conservatives face widespread political persecution is ridiculous

Republicans are the ones in power right now cracking down on dissidents. Freedom of speech means freedom from government interference, and only one party is doing that right now.

Any “persecution” lmfao is because conservatives are not conservative but are instead regressive and spread hateful rhetoric. Hate crimes have increased since the start of this presidency and let me tell u it’s not on towards conservatives. The rhetoric of hate and fear and exclusion promotes violence and justifies radicalism. The same thing happened to dems two months ago and republicans made jokes. Conservatives hold all of the power yet have done nothing to help the American ppl. It’s called

Accountability and it’s deserved. Stop making conservatives victims of persecution because that is NOT what this is. Why is this constantly happening and why is it normalized is the real root of the problem ppl need to recognize. Maybe shitting on every single thing someone w a different opinion creates extreme polarization. This isn’t a party issue it’s a humanity issue🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Like this is the problem and this is what is emphasized by media and the government to instill sentiments in ppl. This conservative regime has pushed dangerous nationalistic ideology which is inherently meant to divide and exclude people to empower a cause. We are all Americans and we are all people stop falling for this fake divide and start caring about actually FIXING the cause and not just mitigating effects.
