If you think the SEC has 0 say in that you’re ridiculous. There is no objective reality where lsu vs bama isn’t a bigger matchup than Ole piss and Georgia. They have actively shown all season they are happy to fuck LSU( literally exactly why it’s the last annual game) of a major rivalry

I think that’s a VERY lazy take. They have looked absolutely dominant when things get going, having 2 close loses where both times they beat themselves more than they were beat. You don’t have nick Saban hyping them for clout

The objective reality is Georgia and Ole Miss have beaten Bama and LSU, respectively. And are each higher ranked than the team they played and beat. Every available stat regarding time slots is proof that ESPN has been on its knees for LSU in particular despite being a fringe top 5 SEC team since 2020.

Beyond that, the 2 vs 12 game being the one time your team doesn’t get the featured slot in a ranked matchup is totally valid, given the fact that your team plays in a 9 vs 15 matchup. Y’all get a night game nearly every time you play at home. Cry a river that you don’t get your way once.
