Don’t understand the notre dame ranked hate, I need a different view point

Both of their games were against ranked opponents, but they still lost. Like I understand where they’re coming from but it’s also silly to have an 0-2 team ranked when there are many teams that have beat their ranked opponents that may be better to be in the rankings

I sorta get that, but I would rather see you play a tough game and lose close than play nobody and win big, if a hold is successful all of a sudden notre dame Is a top 10 team I just don’t get the anger when they haven’t looked bad in either game

I also don’t think that the rest of their games will move them around much. Like if we get a notre dame 10-2 by the end of the season that may look “nice” but they don’t have many good opponents left if any. But some teams have the rest of their opponents being extremely talented teams that may lose a time or two but could be ranked lower than notre dame because they’re 10-2. I don’t know if that makes sense but
