I think it’s because they feel like they claimed it after beating bama in ‘22 since they played it on the speakers after. I’m a Tennessee fan so I’m fully on board with the “lol it’s a song about Tennessee part” but I don’t really know why they sang it yesterday. It’s an Alabama tradition to sing it. We only should whenever we beat them in Neyland
