Florida has almost nothing over LSU all time. A few more first round draft picks and a 3 more weeks at #1 in the AP poll. LSU has the better record, more natties, more conference championships, more bowl wins, etc. and Oklahoma is easily #2 in the SEC.

They claim one more national championship, but that’s different than winning a national championship. No one called the 1927 Aggies national champions until Jeff Sagarin did 60 years later, and A&M didn’t claim it until 2012.

Similar story with their 1919 claim. No one called them the national championship that year until the 1990s, and they didn’t call themselves that until 2012.

As for their conference championships, they played in a very weak conference. The Southwest Conference only produced four AP/coaches national champions. A&M has only one conference championship since leading the SWC in 1996.
