It isn’t any more a rivalry than bama-UF was in the 2000s, when they had the same thing where they’d play each other in the sec championship every year. Sometimes those types of rivalries get heated and stick around, like how Florida-Tennessee wasn’t a huge deal until the ‘90s, but most of the time they fade out once one of the programs stops regularly competing at that level. Georgias rivals are Georgia tech, auburn, Tennessee, South Carolina, and UF, and bama’s are auburn, Tennessee, and lsu
