Why would they laugh at it? It’s within every team and conference’s right to file an appeal to the governing body of the sport they’re participating in if they believe something was not done correctly during a game. That’s part of how the system was set up and is designed to work. If anything, everyone will be laughing at the NCAA if they decline it because then they’ll know they’re spineless nobodies
