Field official shouldn’t have waited 7 seconds to call it, you’re relying off a tug of war when the ball is a dead ball because both have firm control, and thus it should go to the offense. Watching the fighting afterward is irrelevant. Terrible call by the ref

To me it looked like the Tech receiver’s arm came off it around when they hit the ground and the Pitt guy had it firmly in both arms the whole time, may have been bad process but they arrived at the right call imo
