Because Alabama fumbled, threw a pick, and turned it over on downs within the first 10 minutes causing Michigan to go up 13-0. Additional it began pouring rain briefly, and despite it raining, Alabama did not adjust (should’ve gone under center instead of using the shotgun), Alabama outscored Michigan 19-3 after that period, but they came off really slow

Bama outscored Michigan 13-0. They couldn’t put up more than 13 offensive points all game. They put up 3 points against Oklahoma
