SEC is getting 5 teams in the college football playoffs and there is nothing the other conferences can do about it besides the Big12. They need at least 1 other team besides Texas Tech to keep winning.

There’s an outside chance we could get 3 ACC teams — Miami, GT, and UVA don’t play each other in the regular season

Unfortunately I just think there’s no way GT and UVA don’t drop an ACC game each. And GT will most likely lose to UGA.

You’re probably right, but there are a couple factors in their favor. UVA has maybe the weakest remaining schedule in the power 4 and is likely to get some players back from injuries. GT is still undefeated rn and would probably get a good bit of leniency with a loss to UGA

The best ACC team either of them have left on their schedule is probably Duke

Yeah, I mean 2 losses and 1 to UGA would get you in if UGA is already in and there’s a couple of SEC 3 loss teams. But there’s just going to be 0 win for GT that’s better than Oklahoma Texas A&M Alabama Georgia Ole Miss 1 win.
