Fun fact: Notre Dame and Miami have the same amount of ACC title approaches. Miami has been in the conference for over 20 years, Notre Dame was in it for a single year.

A 10 win season in 2017 with an ACC title appearance where they got absolutely waxed by Clemson. They had their golden opportunity this past year, plus the assistance of ACC refs through VT & Cal, leading them to a perfect 9-0 record and ACC & CFP favorites. Then choked in November as they usually do, knocking themselves out of the ACC title game and CFP contention. Their consolidation prize was the Pop Tarts bowl where Cam Ward played solely to reach a record then quit on his team after half.

37 years ago (ND) and 24 years ago (Miami). Both are ancient history.

He’s always been very good. He just made the mistakes he made because of his team poor offensive production. Which is why he forced throws so much. Ppl gone see how good bro actually is this season with a good offense

Blaming forced throws on bad offense means you don’t know how to read and understand your offense, you don’t know that you can’t throw it straight to the defender, etc.

you clearly didn’t watch the games, nobody was open and when they were they were dropping the ball, forced throws ABSOLUTELY happen with a bad offense, while yes some were mainly his fault, some were forced because there was no other option to force it and pray your wr can make a play

If you have no receivers open, a good quarterback will either scramble and try to evade the situation and take it himself, OR… just throw it away. The last thing you want to do is lose yards (take a sack) or give it to the other team
