“Mediocre” yet lost to a great Iowa state by 3 at Iowa state. Almost beat Indiana and Oregon within 2 minutes of the 4th, and put up a fight against a ranked USC. If anything Iowa is one of the best 8-4 teams. Not “mediocre”.

1) they didn’t. And Indiana played in Iowa, and it wasn’t that close. 2) Oregon was also in Iowa and Oregon still won. This isn’t a home game for either team and Iowa is crushing them

My argument is they also had close games against Michigan state, Iowa state, and they lost to USC. Almost beating Indiana isn’t impressive, Penn state also almost beat Indiana
