Texas tech is hands down 1 of the best teams in the country. I was skeptical about them to start the year and through the first couple weeks but they are dominant week in and week out on both sides of the football. 1 of the best dlines in cfb
The way they came out dominant against Utah, then bounced back with their backup QB, and then did that AGAIN against KU pretty much showed me all you need to know that this is a top 5 team

How many ranked teams have they beaten

For anyone disregarding Tech because of their QB being injured, watch those 2 games. Especially KU. The only reason they scored on them at all is because Jalon Daniels is exceptional

That’s the most points the defense has given up all year. They are out scoring opponents 106-41 in the second half. On top of that 35 of the 41 second half points have been given up by the third string or worse.

1, which is the same amount as Ohio State. They also beat 3 P4 teams that currently have winning records, which is more than a lot of other ranked teams have done so far

I was just asking bc i genuinely didn’t know sorry
How does that compare to like Alabama or ole miss

Bama has 3 straight ranked wins (Vandy at home, Georgia and Mizzou on the road) but they also have that loss against FSU which id aging bad. Ole Miss blew the doors on a fringe 25 Tulane and beat. But they nearly lost to Wazzu at home

In your opinion is beating 3 straight ranked ppl w one loss in the first week worse then only 1 ranked win?

absolutely not. Bama deserves to be ranked over Tech on resume alone, but that’s not a fault to Tech who hasn’t had that same opportunity. They’ve played exceptional with the slate they got

Ok thanks! Sorry I’m still learning I’m just getting into football beyond my own team this season
