As a Notre dame fan even though our ACC relationship is strong we will never join the ACC, baring something crazy. As far as the game it’s pretty important considering ND has already lost most of their big rivalry games, although I think most fans would be ok replacing them with Michigan or even Miami

I mean the one year they were in it they won the regular season, it would probably be ND vs Clemson most years
