You’re telling me playoff team ASU that should’ve beat Texas would be the 14TH BEST TEAM IN THE SEC NEXT YEAR? I get ESPN has a deal with the SEC but this is ruining cfb. Might as well separate SEC from NCAA and play 2 different seasons at this point

This entire list is clown behavior ngl, Tennessee loses their QB from last season and doesn’t move down any spots, yet ASU retains almost their whole roster, with solid transfers coming in to fill what little gaps they have, and yet they’re behind an Arkansas team that will be lucky to go bowling

I understand that frustration and other teams should definitely be lower lol but ASU just lost skattebo and some key defensive pieces

FPI isn’t a ranking

Realistically clemson or penn state should be #1 coming from a osu fan

While also retaining most of their roster and bringing in solid transfers to fill in the gaps. ASU needs to be top 15.

That’s crazy to say when every team is losing players, I mean pretty a majority of these teams are gonna have a new QB. There is no defendable way to say they would be 14th best team in the SEC.

ESPN has to suck off the SEC even more for ratings this year, I hope a big ten/acc/ND win a title next year for the sake of the sport.

You’re just parroting what the media says. No one would independently come up the idea that Pedo State should be #1.

Some made up ranking based by some nerds in Connecticut based on recruiting stars which aren’t exactly the most accurate measure (those nerds are also incentivized to rank SEC teams high due to new TV deal) . SEC plays ball on paper, not on the field.

Those teams winning would be fun, but a Big XII title winner, however unlikely, will feed the nation

I only mentioned one team. James Franklin is 1-18 against top 5 teams but you “people” except him to stop sucking ass this year why? Because he’s returning a group of wide receivers who didn’t catch a single pass against Notre Dame?

Their recruiting classes sucked and he lost 5 starters to the draft. Both their transfer and high school wide receivers are pretty mediocre. Worst of all their coach is James Franklin. Anyone who has them at #1 is a hot take merchant or just a moron.
