Not desperate enough for us to avoid becoming the new Penn State now that Franklin is gone. Saw someone say that Tennessee would be the next “this is our year!” team that goes 10-2 every year but never wins anything big. As a fan, at first I was like “damn”, but then I really thought about it, and I was like “DAMN” because they might not even be wrong 😭

So I can’t tell if we’re a good version of Arkansas where the bad luck just barely keeps us from being goated instead of just being ass like them, or the new version of Penn State where we just don’t win big games. We definitely have a curse, just can’t figure out which one since they’re giving me heart attacks every Saturday with how they’ve been playing

Real! Every week I’m like, is Heupel really the best coach for the Vols? Or have we have we been blinded bc of the bad ones since Phil? He’s def not getting us where we gotta be. And defense plays like ass bc no one was prepped to replace our injured DL.

Although I think Heupel can drive the team down the field efficiently, I feel like I’ve noticed that he struggles with coaching the closer the team is to the goal line and whenever the clock is putting pressure on his decisions. It seems like we can very reliably get to the goal line, but getting in always seems to be a struggle
