I mean I agree. It needs to be a committee selecting the next coach. Woodward clearly sucks at hiring football coaches in particular so. He’s involved as of now bc the governor selects members of the LSU board of supervisors and we don’t have a president rn so he’s helping out

To play devil’s advocate for a minute, Woodward was responsible for not only the horrible BK hiring, but also the Jimbo Fisher contract at A&M (which was somehow an even bigger buyout than BK). I wouldn’t trust him to make a good hiring either.

Dawg to be fair, the reason there’s no trans football players is because to be a trans football player and play in men’s CFB, they’d have to be ftm. That’s literally just putting someone’s life in danger even IF they made it onto the team (which is a MASSIVE if for most positions). Other way around puts everyone’s lives in danger other than the trans person. Can you imagine a 6’7 350 pound linebacker trucking women on the field 😭 that doesn’t sound like it’d end well

There’s basically no trans athletes in any D1 competition. And none have ever even won anything, or taken from any cis athletes.

I wouldn’t get into saying all that, I just think it’s weird how liberals don’t realize how conservative sports is, especially college football but I guess this is the new generation. It’s like being in the neighborhood playing football with the guys and that one annoying girl is just begging to be included

Historically American football has been associated with conservative values, it’s always been used as a platform for conservative politics. You complaining about republicans being associated is like asking why there’s water in a lake.
