I love football but i mean the only time your foot is hitting the ball is if you’re a kicker/punter. It isnt gonna change though we’re too far in lol

Played on the feet. When it was invented, many sports (like polo) were played on horseback. Not totally sure why this one is called football because there are other sports on feet, but that’s where it got its name
