Bama will be on the outside looking in if they don’t win the SEC and BYU wins the Big 12

If Bama is in the SEC championship game, they’re in. If they get dropped for losing that game then championship games will be burned to the ground. If anyone gets dropped for losing a championship game it’s gonna be BYU, not the SECs runner up

Bama is in a tough position bc they either lose to Auburn and miss the playoffs or beat Auburn and risk missing the playoffs with a SECCG loss

Tho I can see a world in which they stay in if they beat the shit out of Auburn and then keep it close in the SECCG

They’ll stay in with a loss in the SECCG as long as Tech wins the Big 12

They won’t get dropped for losing they’ll be dropped if someone besides Tech wins the Big 12. I don’t see a world where Big 12 loses they’ll Big 12 CG and gets dropped from the playoff. If BYU (or Utah/ASU by some miracle) win then the Big 12 will get 2 bids and Bama is on that chopping block at the moment

They would drop ND before Alabama if Alabama plays in the SECCG, the only way Alabama misses is if they lose the iron bowl
