 Miami is a very good team but they’re reliant on an at large spot because of the ACC’s dumbass tiebreakers, and I don’t know if they deserve it more than BYU, Bama, or Oklahoma. However, if Notre Dame makes it and Miami doesn’t then that’s bullshit

3 points in august not deciding your playoff fate over losing to two unranked teams the latter half of the season isn't 'bullshit', it's basic common sense

Miami and Notre Dame’s resume is pretty similar, and Miami beat Notre Dame. I don’t think either should make the playoffs really, but if only one could they should respect the head to head

Miami brings in way less money than Notre Dame so the committee is happy to hype up Notre Dame all season
