Brady went to a loaded roster in Tampa bay has 3 WR1s he could throw to every Super Bowl Brady won in New England he had a top 5 defense. It took belichick one season without making it to the playoffs with Mac jones to bring them back to the playoffs.

That makes it harder, belichick had 30 returning players, he had to go out and recruit 70 incoming players and then he has teach all 100 players a new offense and a new defense ofc there gonna lose the first game. Btw the team that he went against went to the national championship 2 seasons ago.

When saban took over the job at Michigan state he probably had what 50-60 returning players plus 30 incoming recruits that’s way easier. Players couldn’t just transfer because they’d lose a year of eligibility.
