I just finished reading it. It's amazing. It's my second favorite computer science book after SICP (the original scheme version not the js nonsense one)

It's a must read by anyone that writes code in any capacity. I would describe it as getting to the heart of the question of what computer science really is, the nature of computation, and how languages really work. There is a reason it used to be MIT's introductory computer science book. Maybe I just have an extra affinity for it as a weekend lisp hacker though tbh.
