There are some companies, notably AI training companies, that have almost all remote workers, here and internationally. The remote part of it also justifies extra shitty treatment since no supervisor ever sees their workers face to face.

Fr AI is not even the main problem. For entry level it somewhat is but why would u pay a junior 70-100k when it can be so much cheaper overseas

This is actually so true and rly annoying. Ppl think immigrants are stealing all the jobs. No bruh, the companies are outsourcing your job, and creating a scarce job market so they both pay less and you'll be more desperate to work to keep the job you have. It's a win win for them. They will outsource all the grunt work and keep only managerial positions, which is why entry level is now so hard to find
