Agreed, either learn something (doesn’t even have to be a new language or anything, just get familiar with the codebase, read company wiki or whatever) or even better ask your mentor or whoever what you can do. I really only go on my phone if I’m running tests that take a few minutes or something like that

yea when i have nothing to do, i just either do a leetcode question, or try and brush up on a language im using at work (like today i was just reading sql documentation). p much only on my phone when im waiting for a model to finish training. dont go on ur phone tbh

If you do go on your phone make it brief. Sometimes people watch you. So just use the time to study. Maybe study for a certification you may need or brush up on a language. If you know SQL try the sql murder mystery, and when you finish that, try to make your own!
