It really fucking annoys me that companies never promote from within anymore. It is ridiculous for you to have 7 "Senior advanced pro xyz engineer supervisor" positions available and NOTHING else

They do promote from within - it's called the caste system and Hindu nationalism

Fr. Why do you think there are so many Indians in tech? Bc they either have family in there or friends. Easier way to get in than just your resume alone. That’s how I got into my job. Even tho I don’t know shit about firmware, they are teaching me but thanks to a friend’s family member I am here and got my foot in the door.
